Conversation on the ways in which artificial intelligent affects our theatrical practice now and in the future
Artificial intelligence has long since ceased to be a dream of the future: it is already influencing the way we make theater. From script development and scenography to choreography and dramaturgy, artists nationwide are exploring AI as a creative partner, tool and sometimes co author.
In Theater x Machine: AI in the Future of Theater, diverse theater makers, from institutional venues to experimental makers, will show how AI is affecting their theater practice. Led by a moderator, they will discuss authorship, ethics, biases and the technical realities of working with AI. The audience is also invited to join the conversation: are we skeptical, inspired or ready to dive in?
Whether you are a theater maker, programmer or curious audience member, this session offers a glimpse into the rapidly evolving world where theater and technology converge, and invites us to imagine the future of performance together
Panel guests include: Marijn de Jong (Urland) and Abdelhadi Baaddi (Co-Founder Innovation:Lab).
